Frequently Asked Questions

"Do I need a large sales force to work effectively with Salespunch™?"

Not at all. However, with larger sales operations (usually more than 30 salespeople) we do take a different approach.

"Can I join a public training programme?"

No. Our tools and methodologies are supported by a Salespunch™ sales coach to ensure effective application when solving your business issues.  Therefore, our approach doesn't lend itself to a multi-disciplined, multi-business environment.

"How do I find out more?"

If you are in the UK please call +44 (0)845 33 11 454 or +612 9899 4778 if you are in Australia for a no obligation telephone conversation, or email us and we’ll call you.

"I don’t usually allow any budget for this sort of help."

Almost by definition, many clients don’t allow budget for solving sales problems - businesses tend not to plan in advance for 'problems'!  This is why the Salespunch™ approach allows for fast, demonstrable return on investment that supports a ‘self-funding’ model aligned with measurable sales productivity improvements.

"What if I don’t have a salesforce to develop but still need more sales?"

A few options.....

  • The effective use of the right tools and sales coaching which are of value to whomever is currently taking unofficial custody of your sales target.
  • From a 'no axe to grind' perspective, your Salespunch™ coach can apply rigor to the sales recruitment process on your behalf.  A process whereby qualifying out the wrong candidate is as much of a 'win' as qualifying in the right ones.
  • Ask your Salespunch™ coach to take over the sales role for you - thus releasing other team members and minimising the opportunity cost of non-sales people carrying out the sales role.

"How will I be able to measure the return on my investment in Salespunch™?"

In a number of ways, depending on your business and the sales problems you’re trying to address. Some typical examples include:

Result areas:

  • Revenue / growth
  • No. of customers converted
  • Achievement of required product mix
  • No. of new customers
  • No. of prospects in the pipeline
  • No of new prospects entering the pipeline

Activity areas:

  • No. of visits to existing customers
  • No. of visits to prospects
  • No. of proposals to prospects
  • Telephone appointment activity
  • Total no. of proposals

Ratio analysis:

  • Conversion ratios at each stage of the sale
  • Average time to close
  • Visits per day
  • Revenue per day
  • Proposals per day

"Will I meet someone different to the person who might eventually work with me and my team?"

In most circumstances, no. However, the Salespunch™ team have varying areas of expertise and industry experience and we are able to leverage this depending on the task, business, and characters involved.

"What if I don’t really know what the problems are right now?"

During the first meeting with your Salespunch™ a number of proven techniques will be used to quickly identify the most significant issues holding back sales growth in your company.

"How does Salespunch™ charge for an initial consultation?"

Our first meeting carries no financial investment other than reimbursement of our out-of-pocket expenses. We do, however, expect an investment of time - approximately 1.5 - 2 hours for the initial meeting.  Depending on the outcome, additional time should be allocated to consider the most appropriate way forward for your organisation.

"How quickly will I notice a difference to my business?"

The tracking of tangible sales results will depend of the sales cycle lead times for your particular business.  We would expect however, to identify and implement significant enhancement to sales activity and behaviour in a matter of weeks rather than months.
